The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry seeks to fill two tenure-track or tenured faculty positions in Chemistry.

This position is for tenure track or associate or full professor.

Exceptional candidates from all areas of Chemistry are encouraged to apply. The successful applicants will be expected to establish highly productive and extramural funded research programs, engage in collaborative research, direct thesis, and dissertations, and exhibit a commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching.

Minimum Qualifications:

 A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field and post-doctoral experience. Candidates at the Associate and Full Professor levels would be expected to have a history of sustained extramural funding. Salary and startup funds are competitive and commensurate with academic qualifications and prior experience.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

 Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
