Basic Function:

 The Kent State School of Journalism and Mass Communication seeks digital storytelling professionals to teach part-time in our Digital Media Production Film and Television tracks. Courses include (but are not limited to) both lecture and lab classes in: sound for picture, digital video editing, scriptwriting, writing for video and audio, production, digital cinematography, lighting for film/TV, and visual effects/compositing/animation.

Minimum Qualifications:

 Candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and five years of professional experience or a Master’s degree and three years of professional experience in their field.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

 Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
