Basic Function:
To assist in the coordination of a designated educational or student service program. Reports to designated supervisor.
Additional Basic Function – if applicable:
THIS POSITION WILL PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE ASSOCIATE DEGREE OF NURSING PROGRAMS AND OTHER PROGRAMS WITHIN THE COLLEGE OF APPLIED AND TECHNICAL STUDIES.Examples of Duties:
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Assist in the coordination of a designated educational program; may be responsible for a component of a program or assist in providing support to the entire program.
Prepare and/or develop program/course materials and distribution of materials to appropriate parties.
Provide information regarding designated program to students and faculty.
Prepare and maintain mandatory program documentation and records.
Participate in meetings, conferences, or special activities.
Collaborate with schools, departments, colleges, faculty members, etc., regarding program(s).
May supervise students and/or provide functional guidance of support staff or other employees who work on a project or assignment on a temporary or intermittent basis.
Perform related duties as assigned.

THIS POSITION MAY BE BASED AT ANY OF KENT STATE’S REGIONAL CAMPUSES, WITH A PREFERENCE FOR PLACEMENT AT THE TUSCARAWAS CAMPUS, AND INCLUDES THE EXPECTATION OF REGULAR TRAVEL TO OTHER CAMPUS LOCATIONS WITHIN THE KSU SYSTEM AS NEEDED.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three months of related experience or a combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to five years of related experience.
License/Certification:
Knowledge Of:
Personal computer applications
Skill In:
Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability To:
Work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications – if applicable:
Master's degree preferred.
PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE WITH ASSOCIATE DEGREE PROGRAMS OR PROGRAM ACCREDITATION IS PREFERRED.
PROFICIENCY IN MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT) PREFERRED.
