Salary:
$76,018 - $103,903
Basic Function:
Provide administrative oversight of clinical services including management of testing services and the Collegiate Recovery Community. Srve as the coordinator and clinical supervisor of the externship program. Implement and evaluate the expansion of clinical services delivered to university community. Reports to the Director of Counseling and Psychological Services.

Examples of Duties:
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Provide administration and supervision of professional clinical staff and graduate level trainees in the provision of counseling testing services, and substance use assessments.
Provide administrative oversight of the Collegiate Recovery Community.
Assist Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Director in the implementation of enhanced mental health services and evaluating the effectiveness of them.
Supervise assigned classified and unclassified staff.
Assist in developing and maintaining administrative policies for the department.
Assist in the development, maintenance, and coordination of Kent State’s campus emergency response mental health plan.
Provide direct clinical services; may include psychological testing and assessment, individual, group, family, and couple’s psychotherapy.
Provide crisis intervention, consultation and emergency services to the university community.
Assist in ensuring compliance and consistency with all federal and state statutes and university regulations related to mental health care and services.
Represent the CAPS Director Chief Psychologist in their absence.
Assist with strategic planning activities.
Serve on various department, division, and university committees.
Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology. Five years of experience in administrative leadership, clinical supervision and provision of clinical services. Experience working with diverse populations. Must be able to work nontraditional hours.
Current licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Ohio.
Current Procedural Technology (CPT) coding
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Healthcare Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Clinical counseling
Clinical supervision
Program administration
Interpersonal, verbal and written communications
Personal computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
Provide leadership and direction
Design and implement a variety of educational programs
Work nontraditional hours
Preferred Qualifications – if applicable:
Experience working with student populations, electronic medical records,developing and implementing strategic plans for healthcare organizations, and evaluating effectiveness of education and/or prevention programs.Assessments:
