Basic Function:

The Department of Marketing & Entrepreneurship at Kent State University seeks qualified candidates to apply for a one-year visiting non-tenure-track position in Marketing, effective August 20, 2026. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate Marketing courses depending on departmental needs (e.g., Marketing Analytics, Social Media Marketing, and Digital Marketing). 

Additional Basic Function – if applicable:

 The department offers courses primarily in-person and some courses online.  Qualified candidate will have the opportunity to teach Marketing Management in the MBA Program.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must have a terminal degree (Ph.D. or DBA) in Marketing.  For candidates with a terminal degree earned prior to May 2022, evidence of recent scholarly or professional activities that allow them to maintain currency in the field is required.  All-But-Dissertation (ABD) Doctoral students are encouraged to apply if they are highly likely to earn their terminal degree before August 2026.  In addition, evidence of effective teach is preferred but not required.
