Job Title:

Training and Development Logistics Coordinator

Physical Location:

 Kent Campus - Kent, OH

Salary:

 $41,114 - $55,325 (actual salary will be determined by internal equity and commensurate with background of selected candidate).

Basic Function:

To assist with the design, development and delivery of training programs and materials specific to services provided by The Center for Corporate and Professional Development. The primary function is the management of the logistics for the center's contracted, custom training programs. Reports to Client Relations Manager or designated administrator.

Examples of Duties:

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following: 

Perform administrative functions related to designing, coordinating and documenting services / programs / trainings conducted by the Center’s facilitators while serving as key contact with facilitators for content preparation and to internal colleagues for training delivery and client interactions.

Assist with preparing contracts, preparing and shipping all materials, inputting data into and tracking project financial reports, summarizing training evaluations, and maintaining office electronic and paper files.

Create and maintain a schedule for programs being offered, including scheduling project activities into the client relationship management software and calendars. Track project details and maintain project status in CRM system, registration software and excel reports

Responsible for all details related to ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all the contract training logistics details.

Ensure expenditures are within budget for designated programs.

Participate in meetings, conferences, and special activities.

May provide functional guidance of support staff or other employees who work on a project or assignment on a temporary or intermittent basis.

May assist in prospecting and sales activities and contribute to marketing activities and special events.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, training and development, adult education, hospitality management or a related discipline. One year relevant experience providing a variety of support (e.g., clerical, logistics, and administrative) functions such as training, talent development, workforce development, event management, continuing education classes or sales administration.

License/Certification:

Adhere to checklists, templates and scheduled, targeted deadlines *

Work non-traditional hours, which may include early morning, evening and weekend hours

Preferred Qualifications – if applicable:

Experience in planning and coordinating special events, especially as it relates to training, workforce development or continuing education classes.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building and throughout Northeast Ohio to coordinate training and events.
