Basic Function:

The Department of Management within the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Kent State University seeks qualified candidates to apply for a visiting non-tenure-track position in Management effective August 20, 2026.

Examples of Duties:

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following: 

The candidate will primarily teach courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs such as human resource management,  organizational behavior, organizational mentoring, human resource management analytics, staffing, performance and compensation, and other management courses as needed and depending on the qualifications of the candidate.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must have a terminal degree (PhD or DBA) in business or a management area (e.g., human resource management, organizational behavior) or equivalent terminal degree  in a related area with teaching and research experience in business. For candidates with a doctoral degree earned prior to May 2022, evidence of recent professional activities that allow them to maintain currency in the field is required.  All-But-Dissertation (ABD) doctoral students are also encouraged to apply if they are highly likely to earn their terminal degree before August 2026. In addition, evidence of effective teaching is preferred but not required.
