Basic Function

Opportunity to provide classroom instruction in undergraduate and graduate programs, advising and evaluating students, working in the college’s networking laboratory, and other duties normally associated with a non-tenure track position. Candidates may also be eligible for Assistant Professor rank upon commencement of employment.

Minimum Qualifications

A Master’s degree in Digital Sciences or a related field. Certifications in CCNA Routing and Switching and CCNA Security. Experienced in undergraduate teaching at a four-year institution in the areas of digital systems, network management and telecommunications. Skilled in the technical design and implementation of laboratory teaching facilities in the area of networking and network management with Cisco and Juniper technologies. Experienced in industrial applications related to network management.

Physical Requirements

Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
