Basic Function:
Determine and implement accommodations for students with disabilities. Coordinate designated specialized accommodations or programs. Reports to Associate Director, Student Accessibility Services or designated supervisor.

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Determine and implement appropriate academic accommodations for disabled students through interviews with students, the evaluation of medical, psychological, and neuro-psychological documentation.
Coordinate all aspects of designated accommodation(s) or program(s) as specified to include:
Advise students, parents, faculty, and staff on disability accommodations, policies, and procedures. Stay apprised of current trends and practices in disability resources in higher education.
Support department programs and initiatives, in accordance with division and university priorities. Serve on various university and external committees as requested and/or required.
May supervise students and/or provide functional guidance of support staff or other employees who work on a project or assignment on a temporary or intermittent basis.
Perform related duties as assigned.

None.Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in higher education, rehabilitation counseling, psychology, counseling, social work, or related field and two years of experience in a postsecondary education environment. Or a bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, communications, or a related field and four years of experience in a postsecondary education environment.
License/Certification:
Not applicable.
Knowledge Of:
Access concerns, required services, and relevant legislation for students with disabilities in post-secondary education
Skill In:
Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication with a variety of individuals, including faculty, staff, students, parents, and external constituents *
Student-focused problem solving, working as a team, and working independently
Personal computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite *
Ability To:
Evaluate, interpret, and apply complex requirements and policies
Work nontraditional hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications – if applicable:
Previous experience with database management systems specific to post-secondary disability/accessibility providers, such as Accessible Information Management (AIM), Accommodate, and Clockwork. Relevant professional experience in providing academic accommodations to students with disabilities in a post-secondary environment. Experience with assisting in the coordination of specific service area(s) (e.g. note-taking assistance, furniture acquisition, etc.) for students with disabilities at the post-secondary level.Assessments:

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm or otherwise discussed with your supervisor.
