Basic Function:
To assist in the development and implementation of initiatives, activities, and programs related to the involvement of faculty and alumni in the recruitment of new students. To manage a recruitment territory to meet the enrollment goals of undergraduate students at Kent State. Reports to Director, National Recruitment.

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Work directly with the Director of National Recruitment on goal setting, strategic action plans and yield strategies to include providing advice on short-term and long-term strategic planning activities and recruitment goals.
Contribute to the annual recruitment plan with intentional opportunities for alumni and faculty involvement. This can include partnerships with secondary schools and outreach to teachers, school counselors, and other influencers to facilitate classroom presentations and other engagement opportunities.
Establish and maintain the collaborative exchange of information and data with other Kent State administrative and academic offices and campuses.
Work collaboratively with the admissions office and other university partners to meet event staffing needs.
Coordinate with academic and service units in the implementation of recruitment plans that are coordinated with the annual recruitment plan of the Office of Admissions.
Cultivate alumni engagement throughout the enrollment process through collaboration with the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement.
Execute training of alumni volunteers steeped in recruitment best practices as established by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC).
Manage recruitment territory by creating and executing a territory strategic plan that includes recruitment strategies, tactics, resource requests, external messaging, events/programs that will help to achieve overall enrollment goals.
Work directly with students/families, high school and independent counselors, community colleges, and community-based organizations to expand and build Kent State’s regional and national outreach.
Consult with prospective students and parents on degree options.
May transport event related materials for on- and off-campus events.
Perform related duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s in a relevant field. Three years of progressively responsible experience in admissions or related field.

Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus regularly
Preferred Qualifications – if applicable:
