Basic Function:

The Department of Psychological Sciences at Kent State University seeks qualified candidates to apply for a non-tenure-track position in Psychological Sciences, effective August 20, 2026. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in the area of biological psychology and neuroscience.

Minimum Qualifications:


Candidates must have a PhD in Psychology or Neuroscience.  In addition, evidence of effective teaching is required.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

 Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
