Senior Data Engineer

The Data Management & Analytics team at Kent State University is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join us as we continue modernizing the university's analytics and integration platforms. Our team develops and supports the data platforms that power reporting, analytics, decision making, and enterprise integrations across the university. In this role, you'll work across both our analytics and data engineering initiatives, helping design and build scalable data pipelines, data models, and integration solutions that connect information from systems throughout the institution. Term Position (Making Our Own Space Program Director)

The CUDC is seeking a full-time MOOS (Making Our Own Space) Program Director (position) with demonstrated leadership capabilities, multi-disciplinary design and fabrication experience, an interest in urban design education, and a commitment to youth involvement in the design process. The position will lead the CUDC’s MOOS program strategy and operations, working closely with the CUDC Director and staff in advancing the mission and activities of the organization, initiating new partners and programs, leading youth-oriented projects, and developing proposals for grants and technical service contracts that support MOOS. Depending on interests, qualifications and needs of the CUDC, the position may also contribute to design studios, seminars of Kent State’s Graduate Programs as well as support urban design and/or research projects of the CUDC.

Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance Lead

Functions as a working crew leader over Vehicle and Equipment Mechanics and assists with the repair, maintenance and inspection of a variety of vehicles and equipment with gasoline and/or diesel engines (e.g., passenger cars, vans, trucks, tractors, lawnmowers, loaders, etc.). Investigate formal complaints that fall under a variety of federal regulations such as Title VII, Title IX, Americans with Disabilities Act, etc. Provide support in creating and coordinating the university’s Gender Equity and Title IX compliance programs. Responsible for web content strategy, information architecture, webpage composition and content optimization across Kent State's digital ecosystem. Support the evolution of Kent State's digital experience through data-informed decision making, emerging AI technologies and modern search optimization. Reports to the Executive Director, Digital Communications.

Assistant Vice President and Executive Director, Admissions

Responsible for the leadership, oversight, and management of the Office of Admissions and all of its functions. Partners closely with deans, faculty, and staff to determine and enact policies and strategies that will realize the university's ambitious enrollment goals. Serves as a representative for the university's mission by presenting an attractive vision to potential students; enhancing the admissions process for those candidates; and helping to assure a rewarding experience for students who enroll. Works closely with the campus community and the regional campuses to build effective relationships and communicate about and garner support for the goals of the Office of Admissions. Reports to Vice President for Enrollment Management.

Academic Advisor I

Under routine supervision, support student success by providing guidance on academic planning, degree requirements, and university resources, while fostering student development and retention. Reports to designated supervisor.

Applications Developer

Responsible for the basic design, development and ongoing modification of software applications, and implementation of work products in a moderately complex production environment. Design, develop and maintain software applications and provide application-specific user support. Develop application requirements based on business requirements from clients and technical requirements from IS support specialties. Implement prescribed security policies. Reports to Designated Administrator.

IT User Support Analyst

Under routine supervision, provides support to end users for PCs, servers, peripherals, applications, hardware and mobile devices. Resolves problems that the first-tier of help desk support is unable to resolve. Reports to designated administrator.
