Basic Function:

Kent State University at Ashtabula is accepting applications for part-time faculty positions in all specialties for Information Technology to include courses in but not limited to the following areas: computer hardware, networking, computer and network security, healthcare IT, cloud and virtualization, database administration and programming.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field.

Preferred Qualifications – if applicable:

• Online teaching experience at the college level
• Industry certifications in any of the following areas:
  • A+
  • Network+
  • Security+
  • CISSP
  • CCNA
  • CISA
  • CCT
  • AWS or any Cloud Certifications

Assessments:

Asterisk (*) indicates knowledge, skills, abilities which require assessments

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

 Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
